Before Cooking, Sort Lentils to Remove Small Stones or Soil. Rinse Under Running Water. Sort and Rinse Lentils; Place in a Large Pot. Cook: In Large Pot, Add 3 to 4 Cups Water for Each 1/2 Lb Lentils. Heat to Boiling. Reduce Heat, Cover and Simmer 15 to 20 Minutes or Until Desired Tenderness.
