Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bouquet

Ingredients
1 dozen roses
1 pint fresh strawberries, cleaned
16 oz white melting chocolate
Red food coloring
Bamboo skewers
Craft paper and ribbon, for decorating
Directions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Carefully pierce a strawberry through the stem with a bamboo skewers, being sure not to go fully through the strawberry at the other end. Repeat with desired number of strawberries.
- Melt the chocolate according to the package directions, then gently stir in a few drops of red food coloring to achieve a pink color.
- Use the skewer to dip each strawberry into melted chocolate to coat. Hold the strawberry above the bowl and let the excess chocolate drip off before setting down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until the desired number of strawberries are coated. Let sit until chocolate hardens, about 20-30 minutes.
- Unwrap the roses and clean away any broken stems or leaves, then gently arrange the skewered strawberries on top. Wrap your new “bouquet” in craft paper and tie with a ribbon to hold it together.
