Ingredients
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1/2 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 medium yellow onion, sliced
1 1/2 cups shredded skinless rotisserie chicken breast meat
1/2 cup barbeque sauce
1 package (12 count) original Hawaiian sweet rolls, split horizontally
6 slices provolone cheese, halved
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°; line rimmed baking pan with parchment paper. In large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add pepper and onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender

 

2. In medium bowl, stir chicken and sauce. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

 

3. Place bottom halves of rolls on prepared pan; top with chicken mixture, onion mixture, cheese and top halves of rolls. Brush tops of sliders with remaining 1 tablespoon butter; tightly cover pan with foil.

 

4. Bake sliders 13 minutes or until cheese melts; uncover and bake 2 minutes or until tops of sliders are lightly browned. Makes 12 sliders.
